I have a under active thyroid and was just wondering if I could still get pregnant as easy as I did last time.

Im taking medication for it, to get it back to normal but still wondering if it is going to be hard for me to get pregnant the secopnd time?

  1. Thyroid hormone therapy during pregnancy is usually safe but should be supervised by a physician.

Many women with hyperthyroidism experience changes in their menstrual cycle, such as irregular periods and lack of ovulation, these changes have not translated into infertility problems.

Having a thyroid problem doesn't mean you can't have a baby, with a little extra planning, preparation and knowledge.

    Best of luck
  2. I have an under active thyroid problem too. you should be able to get pregnant normal.
  3. I was dx'd with hypothyroidism back in '88, and take Synthroid. I didn't have trouble conceiving either time we tried...

    Good luck to you.
