Has anyone with under-active thyroid had problems becoming pregnant?

Im three days late but have had a negative pregnancy test..although I didnt use first morning urine which ive always been told is most likely to give an accurate result when testing early one. Can anyone help with this? Thanks :-)

1. My wife has an out of balance thyroid and according our futility doctor it might be the reason she has not gotten pregnant.. We have been trying for the last 4 years, 2 of those years under the care of a doctor..
   
   Which part of her therapy is taking thyroid meds to get to normal levels..
2. Well first you should talk to your doctor, if you are wishing to become pregnant in the future if your not this time around so that you doctor can discuss with you the likely hood of you becoming pregnant and if there are in pros or cons involved.
   
   The good new is that one of my best friends has under-active thyroid problems and she has become pregnant twice with no problem at all.
   
   Hopefully this gave you some postivie hopes if you are wishing to become pregnant. wish you the best on which ever way it goes.
3. I have been TTC with no luck and just found out that I have an under-active thyroid. My doctor told me this could be the reason for my problems in TTC. They can put you on medication for your thyroid and hopefully you can get pregnant once it is under control...that is what I am hoping for. My doctor seems to think that will be the answer.
4. IF YOU HAVE UNDER-ACTIVE THYROID AND ARE ON THE MEDICATION THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING PREGNANT.
   TRY THE TEST IN THE MORNING ITS A BETTER READING.
