what causes you to get a under active throid.plus does it mess up your sexual problems?

1. the thyroid just quits working its full quota and you have to take a tablet to help it get busy=it has nothing to do with sex
2. Sometimes simply being overweight causes a low thyroid level. Your body produces a certain amount of thyroid hormone but when excess pounds are there - it is not enough for that size body.
   
   As you age your levels may decrease also.
