I have most of the symptons of underactive thyroid but it also feels like something is choking me.?
Do you think this could be connected? My Dad and sis has thyroid too. I had a test 2 yrs ago it was ok the should I have another?

- well go for a second doctor or what others call a second opinion and get rid of the fear... sometimes if u think too much bout it, it starts manifesting itself in symptoms ok? so cool man, go see a doctor and get some advise from a psychiatrist if the doctor says u are negative from the abnormality.. sometimes its all in the head,, but go see a doctor first.

- I have low thyroid. if you have low thyroid...here's a great question to answer: can you see the floor of your house? that was what was asked of me at one point, and to my amazement, the answer was no!

I take medication, and sadly will have to take 1 pill everyday for the rest of my life. there's a blood check that they will do to see if you have low or high. I hope I've helped you!!
