Anyone ever have an underactive thyroid?
How did the Dr check for this? Bloodwork? What did you have to take help make your thyroid more active.

- I had my thyroid removed but the thyroid tests is a blood test. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is what they check for first. If it is high it means your thyroid function is low.
Treatment is thyroid medication which is commonly a synthetic thyroid hormone, the main brand is synthroid.
