What can make high levels of calcium in your blood and high phosphorus and high thyroid tsh in a child?

- well in a child calcium and phos are high due to bone growth......tsh,should not be high,...this may be sign of hypo,slow,thyroid....the T4 should be checked to verify.good luck.......
- Thyroid also regulates calcium (phos) absorbtion. Be sure to check your child for a THYROID PANEL test to rule out thyroid issues. If the TSH is high - the thyroid is not working properly as it is not picking up the body's signal (TSH - thyroid stimulating hormone) to produce more hormone. In that case supplementation of thyroid hormone is needed. This in turn will better regulate the calcium absorbtion! Good luck to you and your baby!
