Can thyroid disease be passed on to my child?
my husband has thyroid disease and so does his dad, what are the chances my child will get it too?

- yes it can be passed.. it runs in my family(I seem to be the only one that does not have a thyriod disease) sorry I dont know the percentage though..
- yes, unfortunately this is one that can be inherited...Good thing we live in today's world...modern medicine...a simple blood test when he/she is older could determine whether they inherited the disease....
