  1. He's so cute! I don't think there is anything you can do to help his hair grow back though so so sorry! But I think if you baught him some cute doggy sweaters then he wouldn't look like he was loosing hair and he would be warmer! Try Target.com!

    Hope this helped:)
  2. cute dog. I don't know if there is anything you can do. Just be glad he doesn't have mange.
  3. The best is vitamine D and fish.
  4. it may not just be his thyroids making it happen. it could also be the meds he's taking or he might have a food allergy or has regular allergies like my little dog had. to help him I would give him childrens benedryl (his vet recomended it) and I changed his food some to see if that would help. also if your dog sleeps on a doggie pillow or somewhere that you deoderize frequently the cleaner might possible break him out.
  5. Maybe you should have him tested for other diseases. Such as cushings. Or maybe have the blood work checked to see if the dose of medicine he is on is the correct amount.
  6. Have your vet check to make sure there isn't something else going on. The hair should have started growing back by now. You may want to try another vet for a second opinion.
  7. sometimes they lose hair because of feeding them cheaper brand dog food which doesn't have enough vitamins .
  8. I just wanted to tell you that you have an adorable baby - I love his face - he looks like he's smiling :)

I really don't know beyond what all others have already said. But I would start with your vet. Ask him why the hair isn't coming back, if there is something else you could try etc. If you don't get a satisfactory answer from him, consider getting a second opinion. I hope you can figure out what is going on with him soon. Is he healthy otherwise?
  9. What works for humans should work for Fido. Try Rogaine. (Just don't get it in his eyes.)

    ^_^
  10. he may have a skin condition, my first inclination would be he has severe allergies in addition to the thyroid problem.
  11. my dog had the same problem, unfortunately sometime the hair won't grow back, and it's just something that come with a hypothryiod dog.

  13. First your dog is FREAKIN CUTE! Even with the hairloss makes him look like a lion! I have a lhasa and they tend to have follicle problems. Bad news, if the follicles got infected the hair is gone for good.If he just scratches too much, see if vet will perscibe steriods for a short time. If he stops itching, his hair may grow back. Look on the bright side, now you can dress him up and feel totally justified. Seriously tho that is a fine lookin doggie!
  14. how can I help his hair grow back?
  15. shave it all so it doesn't look wierd! and maybe he'll grow it back! cuz its oposite
srry if I didn't help you!
