19 weeks pregnant today, the Dr said my thyroid is low, is there anything to help, is this dangerous for us?

Has anyone had this problem before, Did everthing work out I'm so scarred, I read that low thyroid, could cause misscarriage in the second trimester, is this true, I need some advice ASAP, Sleepless in Ca.

  2. Don't worry. I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). You'll have to have blood work every 4 weeks & take a synthetic thyroid, but that's it. It can only harm the baby if you don't get it taken care of.
Don't worry about the pills, they are so tiny, I drop mine & can't find them :)
