What else, besides Hypo/Hyperthyroidism, would cause your thyroid to be enlarged?
Two doctors have tested me for hypothyroidism because they noticed that my thyroid is enlarged. I have some symptoms of it, but my first test was negative and I'm waiting results for the second one. (by an endocrinologist)

- Graves' disease, which is associated with hyperthyroidism and goiter. HYPOthyroidism is associated with atrophy of the thyroid gland rather than enlargement.
