Anyone with hypothyroid who has difficulty losing weight?

I was diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroidities 4 years ago and my thyroid levels are good but still keep gaining weight every year, fatigued, edema, achy, etc. does anyone have any additional information besides the usual I find online on what has helped them seriously to lose the weight and feel good again.

  2. How did they treat your thyroid issues with meds? surgery? I have hypo too and it's so hard to lose weight. I have lymphedema as well and that really makes it stink. You might wanna try manual lymph drainage, it helps stimulate the immune system and move out toxins and edema/fluids/swelling. Stick to water when drinking beverages, eat lots of fruits and veggies, exercise when you can with what you can, yoga is good, deep breathing is good too.
  3. I lost 35 pounds when I finally got the correct replacement dosage, but I have about 35 more to go and it's not budging even with gym and careful eating. It's a drag, but at least I lost 35...
