Hypothyroid and hot flashes?
does anyone here get hot flashes? I have hypothyroid and I'm on 50mcg of levothyrovine. I also get cold very easily and really tired all the time. same symptoms anyone?

- Yes, all of those are classic symptoms of hypothyroid. Your doctor should continue to check your thyroid levels after you have been put on the levothyrovine on a regular basis to make sure you are on the correct amount. It does not sound like the dosage you are on is working for you or the symptoms would go away. I would definitely call the doctor and get a thyroid panel done. They probably need to up your dosage.
- My face used to feel really warm on Levoxyl. If you are still having the same symptoms you had before you started thyroid meds, then you either aren't on enough thyroid medication or you need a thyroid med that is T4 & T3. Currently you are on a T4 med.
