Hypothyroid symptoms despite lowered TSH.?
Hi! I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in August 2006 with a TSH of 161. My TSH has since gone down (currently 1.9) but I still feel gross. And I am experiencing a new symptom - sore joints. Does anyone know if this is related to the medicine I'm taking (synthroid). My Dad is on Armor and he says he feels better. Any ideas?

- I haven't found a doctor who prescribes Amour yet, but everyone I've talked to on about.com and on yahoo thyroid forums sing it's praises. I have the aches and pains every day. Some day every move makes me want to cry, and I don't cry. If you can find a doctor to let you try Armor, I'd go for it. If you need to discuss this with others, go to about.com or look up thryroid groups on yahoo. Sorry I can't talk from experience. I do know that in Texas, one of the boards list all the doctors in Texas that will prescribe Armor. Hopefully, one in your area will do the same.
