Hypothyroidism?
Has anyone ever found out they have hypothyroidism even though a simple blood test said differently? I have all the syptoms of hyp. but when I went to a doctor and had a blood test done he simply said no, my levels were fine. I've heard that there are other more involved tests that can detect mild or other versions of hypothyroidism, but the area I live in is kinda behind the times. Please help!

- Make sure the doctor has done everything possible to rule out the disease. He/She is there for you ....let them know your not satisfied

- my sister has all the symptoms and they said the same thing when she had a blood test. I still think she has it though
- It could be possible? Have your Doctor order a Thyroid Scan..That will tell for sure!! Blood tests can be wrong sometimes!
