Annoying sickness?

I've got several problems and they're getting really irritating. They have been occuring fairly often for the last 4 years or so but have recently gotten worse (I'm guessing because of stress). I have such a small appetite that I can handle only two meals a day. I'm often really sad and sometimes for no reason at all. I've got this feeling like someone pumped my muscles full of lead so it exhausts me to move around a lot. On top of that I have a lot more intestinal discomfort and nausea than I probably should, but never throw up from it. The doctor had my thyroid checked and that came back normal...So I'm a little lost. Anyone have an idea what could be wrong with me? Esp. Answer if you're a medical professional. For some reason, I go to the doctor and they can't tell me anything. The last few times I had something wrong friends suggested a diagnosis and I suggested it my doctors who then essentially said "Ohhhhhh riiiighhht....I knew that!" :P

  1. Sounds like depression, fibryomyalgia (which often is accompanied by depression) or chronic fatigue syndrome. Thyroid problems and depression are often confused with each other.

Get a couple of opinions. Also, try a natruopath, they're much better with things that don't show up on blood tests.

In the mean time, try to eliminate all sugars from your diet, natural source (fruit) and added (table sugar) - well as much as you can. Also, try to cut down on dairy products. While keeping as balanced a diet as you can. Sugar and milk are two of the top irritates for all three conditions listed above.

    Good Luck.
  2. Sounds like depression to me, but I am no doctor. As far as the eating part, that doesn't sound bad. I hardly find the time to have more than one meal a day, if I do it is only two for sure! Good luck!
