  5. I am not trying to scare you, but I am concerned. My Aunt Mary Rose - who has gone on to a better place - died from thyroid complications. She was in her 30's when she stopped her synthroid, by her mid 40's she was collapsed on her apartment floor on the brink of death (she'd been there 3 days). The doctors told us that from not taking care of her thyroid - all major organs suffered, mainly the kidneys. Before she passed away she was ready to start dialysis, but died of a heart attack because of all the stress on her organs - all from one lil' organ called the thyroid. Please, please take your medicine, she was too young to die.
  6. don't ever abruptly stop taking the med...instead talk to your doctor to be certain that you are on the right dosage.
